My friend in the Philippines told me that once the grooves of a revolver are worn out (due to overuse/rust, etc.) , they can't be replaced or if it can be, no one makes/sells after market revolver barrels. I'm still a newbie to the revolver world, comparing to a semi-auto barrel which can be replaced once you got those unwanted scars/cracks. May I ask anyone here who knows how many rounds would damage or retire a revolver barrel? Does it depend on the ammo used/caliber? I know it would be quite a figure, I just want to know the normal range. Thanks in advance guys.
