barrel Crown question

I have a Remington Heavy barrel 308 with their "spherical muzzel crown". The barrel fouled very very quickly, even after a prolonged break-in routine.
Thus, I had to lap the barrel using some LBT barrel lapping compound. Being that I'm not a gunsmith, I used the "Tight Patch" method. Works great & the "re-breaking-in" of the barrel is going fine.

QUESTION: the lapping left a shiny ring on the lip of the crown. I know it was from the patch being pulled into the barrel with the lapping compound on it. SHOULD I RE-BLUE THIS AREA OR LEAVE IT ALONE? Also, it could't have hurt the crown's angle or anything, or could it??
Thanks, k

More barrels are ruined by lapping and break ins than are helped. I have an article I wrote to help new shooters avoid the pit falls of the fads going around and I would be happy to send it to you if you will email me
