Barrel / bushing fit

I'm thinking that the small amt of slack in my Colts' barrel bushing may be hindering my accuracy, will I have to get a match grade barrel & bushing to solve this , or can my local gunsmith fix me up with a fitted bushing to my standard barrel ? & have you guys found this to improve accuracy ?

The key to accuracy

well, one of them, is consistent lock up. This is hard to acheive with a loose bushing, I think, even though the main locking force is exerted up from the bottom of the barrel. New Bushing and/or new barrel? Why not ask George Stringer over in the Smithy?
