Barrel blanks.......?

Need rifled 20 ga barrel blanks.........?

Bought 2 from Hastings last year for a project but when I called them the other day the lady said that they did not have any to sell. Could not figure that one out??

Took her at her word though and went looking about the web for same. Could not find any. Now this makes no sense to me as there are plenty of rifled 20 ga shotguns made everyday.

So point me in the right direction...........I know good and well they are out there I've just not looked in the right place.

One question.

They say their barrels are for the .600 Nitro. I understand that this is the same diameter, or at least close enough, as a 20 ga. What I'm wondering though is if the twist rate and the rifling type would be suitable for the plastic saboted rounds such as the Hornady? That's what I intend to shoot through it.

That i'm not sure of, we do some stuff with Hornaday so i would try them for answers.
If i remember correctly, tom is the guy that Larry( our counter manager) talks to, you might try him.
There are other guys here that are building big bore 20 gauge guns, do a search and there should be at least a good contact on the board, i wish i could be of better help, sorry.
