Godsakes why can't the Dems put up someone who represents the people?

Much as I love to hear him speak, and as much as I may agree with him on other issues, he's from notoriously anti-freedom Illinois. Is there any chance he could be a closet Howard Dean - pro-gun or at least neutral at the federal level?

Is there any way to try to hurt him now before he gets any more momentum? He seems to be unstoppable in this very-early Dem POTUS race. Sure he's better than Hitlery, but that's like saying getting pancreatic cancer is better than getting brain cancer, in the area of our 2A freedoms.

I suppose we can spread the word that "he's too inexperienced & young to be a good leader with all the foreign affairs challenges", etc.

Anyone have 2A quotes that show Obama's beliefs on the subject? NRA & GOA ratings? Etc.?

Yeah, I was right. We're in deep doodoo if Obama gets in, in 2008:

F rating from NRA. F rating from GOA.

Unfortunately, Obama is an anti-gun extremist. As a State Senator, Obama even voted against a bi-partisan bill which would prohibit criminal prosecutions of people who used unlicensed guns to lawfully defend their homes against violent felony invaders.

OK, it's Barack, not Barrack.

he'll step on his dick before 2008, he must have peed in the road at sometime and place. Right now all the runners are trying to show us how nice they are.

After all it will be hard for anybody to make as many foreign friends as GWB.:D

Not necessarily. Not every politician has done something illegal or immoral or even distasteful in their life. I disagree without enough of his politics that there's no need to sling dirt. The sad thing is when people use his middle name Hussein as a negative mark.

At the very least he's got the net neutrality issue right and he's one of the few politicians speaking about it that actually knows what he's talking about unlike Senator Series-of-Tubes. :barf:

When did we take the low road in phrasing our disgust?

Yes, I know that's mild in comparison with the way it could have been said. It is however a definite low road path.

Closed.
