Barnaul Ammo

I got my Barnaul hollowpoints today from Dan's.
Man, this stuff has a really agressive hollowpoint.
500 rds for 60 bucks. If it proves itself, I have a practice and carry round rolled into one.
I hope to try it out in my new Bulgie tomorrow.

I noticed this stuff reeks after shooting. Anyone else notice the same thing?

Yep, it's definitely got a funky smell to it. But it shoots pretty good in my Mak, so I can't complain too much.

I shot some of the Bernaul hollow ponts into soft mud a few weeks ago and they mushroomed beautifully. I haven't checked velocity or penetration, but that big hollow point works.

They do smell strange. Certainly, not any worse than Break Free.

Since I got my Bulgie's feed ramp polished out they feed like poop though a goose. Accuracy ain't bad either.
