BAR Question

I just acquired a 7mm mag Browning BAR II Safari in need of some cosmetics on the forend and stock. I see no screw holes on the recoil pad. Can anyone advise as to how they are held in place?.....some type of adhesive I'm guessing?..........easiest way to remove??

Any advice appreciated.

Ok, i have never changed the pad on a bar, but I have changed the pad on a brand new Abolt Stalker. If you take a phillips screwdriver and softly probe around where you think the two screws would be, you should feel a channel that has the screw in it. Be forewarned though, Im not sure how to take the pad out without the screws making two holes in the the pad that wont look so great.
