I need to find a IPB or a step by step take down on a BAR. I have never taken one down and I know that Brownings are put together in a spec way. Please send me in the right direction. Thanks

I have seen the military manual at gun shows, though it is not as common as the rifle manuals. I don't know about a "special way" as the gun is pretty simple.

Edited to add: The above is based on the assumption that the BAR in question is the military light machinegun. If you mean the commercial FN BAR, you should be able to get a manual from FN.

I'll assume you're asking about the hunting rifle. There's a free downloadable .pdf manual here. http://stevespages.com/page7b.htm
The really daft thing, Jim, is that Biggerhammer's manual page doesn't list the 1918 BAR. Has one for a Lewis gun, but not the BAR LMG.
