Bankrupt HCI

What does everyone think of the idea of bankrupting HCI by getting on their mailing list WITHOUT donating to them? This would cost them a tremendous amount in materials, labor and postage.

If it is a good idea (as I believe it to be) then we should spread the word to as many pro-gun website as possible.

That would be a nasty thing to do, Sam. Of course, not as nasty as trying to take away someone's constitutionally guaranteed rights...

I suggest this as well. Write to them and request a copy of their IRS Form 990 from last year. By law, they have to send it to anyone who requests it. I've got a copy of their 1998 Form 990 here and it is 16 pages long and cost them about $.50 to mail to me. There is quite a bit of interesting financial information in there too. Like in 1998 Tony Bennett, Jerry Seinfeld and Rosie O'Donnell all contributed large amount of money to them.

Photocopies and staff time to run them cost $$$. The less they have the better.
