Ban Musical Chairs, for the children

(blink)

Where oh where is Churchill when the limeys need him most?

"Musical statues is better because everybody wins."

Great! So the next time England is up against the wall because their soldiers have been trained from the cradle to be non-aggressive puling wimps, will we rush to their aid?

'scuse me, I gotta go hurl now.

coinn,

I doubt it... It's happening here too.

I've noticed it in little league soccer. All games, regardless of the actual score are counted as "ties" and "everybody wins!!"

don't even get me started on this one, I may have a heart attack at 23 :)

I know a lot of the social conditioning that goes on is planned for a specific end but I can't help feeling that there is a very deep stupidity in the planners too.

Two days ago I read an articlein the Houston paper that stated "Highschools to make competition removal top priority".

The school district is going to remove the Magna and Suma Cum-Laude rating sysrtem because apparently "there's just too much pressure for students to compete to be number 1". [sound of vomit shooting out my mouth and nose...]

I am sickened with this idiotic socialist dumbing-down of Americans. Can you imagine the quality of students we will be producing over the next 10-20 years.

It will only get worse. We, thoe of us here, will soon be a very tiny minority - and we'll become an even bigger social target than we are now.

NRA? Good. Now joing the GOA!

If people would just keep themselves locked in a closet their whole lives they wouldn't have to worry about anyhting. I'm glad that this inhumane torture has been brought out into the light. Now how about we shut down tiddly-wings, dangerous projectiles flying all over the place; you could put an eye out!

I guess that's just the chance you have to take, you take the same chance when you wake up in the morning, cross the street, or stick your face in the fan!

Teaching children that races are won by the swiftest and the strongest is unpopular with the losers. God forbid that Britons be encouraged to be swift and strong.

I agree that there is something seriously wrong with this island and am glad that it has now been identified as musical chairs. Soccer anyone?

The Executive Director of the facility where I work is a Brit. Last week I posted the "56 Million defenseless people killed by gun control" stats in the break room and, surprise, they were removed almost immediately. He was my first suspect, so I took him a copy of the post and asked if he had removed it. Turned out it was someone else, but he replied:

"Well, no, but as you know I come from a gun control country, so you know my feelings."

My answer: "Yes, but now you live in a country with a constitution and a Bill of Rights."

His reply: "And one of only five countries that execute children, you know."

Me: "By children, are you referring to 20-year-old children like John Doe [one of our residents] who have raped or killed innocent people and have been found guilty of numerous felonies and resisted every form of rehabilitation they were offered?"

Him (smiling weakly): Now, now, Miss S! (He quickly finds an excuse to return to his office)

Britain has been turned into a thought-policed post-industrial slag heap of a country run by Nurse Ratched type passive-aggressive sadists. One of the freest countries in the world traded in its freedom for the security of National Health eye-glasses.

Self-assertion, self-respect, and self-defense are now declasse. They are also fundamental to a healthy personality.

These well-spoken Guardian readers want to eat us, but they want us to cook ourselves first. They want to deprive humans of the mental tools necessary to fight or flee from them.

I have found people of this ilk to be dogmatic in their banality. No one reacts to anything in a healthy, spontaneous way. Inevitably, when no reaction occurs, children "learn" that nothing happens to react to. It's rather like being around a bunch of mental patients loaded to the gills on Thorazine, or Lydactil (sp?) as it's known over there.

An irritating bunch, indeed. How they hijacked that country is beyond me.

Well, think of it this way: another few years of this kind of indoctrination and we will be able to invade and occupy the UK using Coinneach alone.

This whole debate of competition makes me wonder. If score-keeping and competition is being eliminated in the lower grades, how long will it be until it gets into the upper grades, college and OH MY GAWD!, professional sports.

Fat chance, there's too much money there, pal.

C.R.,

You beat me on introducing this one. LMFAO! All I can do is laugh at the incredible stupidity of those Britons/liberals/freaks.

So, musical chairs promotes violence and agressiveness, eh? Well, what about every sport in existence? Why, hell we shouldn't even issue grades in school.

Folks, the end is sooner than we realize. My recommendation for everyone here is to start buying more ammo. We're going to need it.

DesertRat: Actually, I don't think we will need the ammo. Pretty soon those of us who have any sort of will of our own will be able to control the zombies simply by telling them what to do. It'll be like herding sheep :)

Never thought of that angle before. Perhaps all of the dumbing down and anti-self defense people should make us happy, since we're going to be able to take them over that much more easily.
