This probably belongs in the reloading forum, but I've found this information:
The only person who makes bullets for reloading is Speer. They are a 325g Unicore hollow point. I have no idea what "Unicore" means.
I have these powder charges from Accurate Powder for this bullet:
Accurate #9 - 23.8g - 1247 fps
Accurate #1680 - 37.8 - 1305 fps
There are a few more powders and the resulting velocities listed at:
http://www.reloadammo.com/
IMI has a ballistics table for their ammo on their site:
http://www.imisammo.co.il/
(click on: Catalog - Ballistics Tables - select .5AE - click OK)
Here's an interesting tidbit from the table:
a .45ACP 230g FMJ bullet has a force of 352 ft/lbs at 25yds. A .50AE 300g FMJ has a force of 1124 ft/lbs. More than three times more, ouch! (They also list mid-range trajectories.)
Hope this helps.
