Balistic Gel

Go to Firearms Tactical, there's a link in our links section. There was an article some time ago about proper prep of ballistic gel. If you intend to use it for comparison purposes, it's important that it always be shot at the same temperature and "calibrated" with a known projectile (bb) first.

Also - it is important to remember that it is usefull really only as a medium for comparison. Unless you did interesting things like put it behind windshield glass wrapped in denim and a layer of Tshirt with a slab of beef ribsall set up nice... then you could gauge bullet performance.

B-Gel itself is fun to work with and will let you compare carefully the loads you select.
