Baikal Coach Gun durability?

I recently purchased one in 12ga online and I am having a ball with it. I have already gone through a 100rnd pack of target loads and 4 boxes of 00 buck in less than a week, and no I don't intend on keeping up this pace forever (maybe a few more weeks). It does kick like a mule! To those in the know, what kind of longevity/durability can I expect from it?

It's been a popular gun with cowboy action shooters and cowboys pound the heck outta guns. Comparisons with Russian T-62 tanks are heard from time to time!

I've heard of cowboys wearing out Stoeger coach guns but I don't know that I've heard of a Baikal wearing out.

Never have seen many Biakal come into the shop for repair other than trigger jobs. And yes they are built like a tank, but only half as heavy. Bet you can't wear it out in your lifetime.

Don't mean to car jack your thread, but where did you find one? I have been looking for one and can't find any. I don't have a dealer (as far as i know) near. Thanks. They sound like great guns from what I have read.

One thing concerns me, the barrels at the muzzle seem a little thin compared to my other shotguns. Is this something I should be worried about?

Deej- From Buds gun shop, google it! And yes you will need a FFL for your transfer
