Bad Religion: new punk rock song for American patriots?

There is a new song out by Bad Religion (an old school punk band). It is played on modern rock stations. It is called "Witness the New America"(?)

I have only heard it twice, but it sounds like a real wake up call. Especially coming from a (typically liberal) punk band, it sounds to me as if it is bashing all the things that we stand against.

I have written down a few words that I could catch. It sounds like the song is lashing out against political correctness and all this BS that is destroying our freedoms.
To me, if I am hearing right, that is a rather large development in the rock/punk culture. Usually these people are constantly lashing on in support of liberal values, but it sounds like this song is totally bashing on liberal values which are ruining the dream of America.
Maybe someone here can find the lyrics and post them. It is a very patriotic sounding song with an inspirational timbre.
Art imitates life and life imitates art. I am hoping that this is a sign that my age group is waking up a bit to the cancer in our society.

"Wake up from this blind humane (insecurity?)

Victory means nothing without sustainability.

We are marching toward extinction with blinders on our eyes.

Open your eyes America.
Witness the new America.

(We are building a false paradise)

Tell me I am in such denial and mark me as our enemy...."

That is all I could catch. I could be wrong about what the song is saying, especially considering the source I would be shocked. But, I am hopeful.

I don't have a copy of the new BR album, but I do have most of their library. Based on the lyrics you have provided and the RA clips I can find on the 'net, it sounds like roughly the same message Greg Graffin and the boys have been putting out since '85 (I try to forget the albums before then ;)).

Bad Religion's overall message has always been wrapped around a central philosophy of individual thought Vs. the 'status quo'. If you want to call that liberal, then grab your stencil and start labeling.

You should've also quoted the next line:

"When the Law break in -
How you gonna go?
Shot down on the pavement?
Or waiting in Death Row?"

"I am a Patriot" (take your pick, Jackson Browne or Pearl Jam) is a good one. The new Creed song "Only in America" is pretty good, but not all that patriotic, I guess.

I know that "Bastille Day" and "Red Barchetta" by Rush tend to bring out the scofflaw in me when I'm driving...

Apparently Bad Religion just released a new CD The New America. The cover is indicative of...something:
