backup or "secondary" handgun

Well, I did it again. I injured my right hand. A couple of years ago, I broke my wrist, and just this last Sunday, I broke a bone in my right hand. I am not as ambi as I wish I was. To tell how, just let me say I lost my temper at something, and the fridge bore the brunt. Well the resulting embarassment and dopeyness I feel as my hand is in a cast is beyond belief. 3 weeks worth!
Getting to the main point, I am sure glad I bought my KelTec P-32 last fall. It is a go anywhere type gun, and also has greatly reduced recoil and manageability in my non dominant hand. I feel it is a good compromise between my P-11 and nothing at all.
Once again, feeling vulnerable is not a good feeling, and the protection a gun can afford is priceless.

Large metal objects are to be abused from a distance with LARGE caliber guns.Preferably 12 Ga. and larger. You should work on that temper.

Cheers,

When I was renting a room at my boss's lake house the hot water heater crapped out on a Friday evening leaving us with cold showers for the weekend. Needless to say, we had a new target at the impromptu range on his back forty come Monday.

P.S. 7.62x39 steelcore won't even slow down in an empty water heater; just in one side and on out the other... A good anti-appliance round.

Hope your hand gets better. ;)

Tatters,

Look at the bright side: Practicing with your non-dominant hand will help develop your marksmanship skills. If your dominant hand ever gets disabled in a fight with something more aggressive than a refrigerator ;), at least you'll know that you can keep shooting with the other hand.

tatters (appropriate name, no?)

I did the same thing. Got p***ed one day and my father's truck got in the way. Result: big dent in the door. I then got even angrier (and a bit afraid of my father's reaction) and hit it again. Dent popped out. Thank you Lord!

Of course, I've also bussed out a windshield and cracked other items due to my former temper. Those things didn't turn out as well.
