Baby Eagle .45 ACP

The search function of TFL is down, so I am seeking opinions.
What do you guys gals think of the Baby Eagle .45 ACP? Any faults I should look out for? The magazines seem kind of pricey. Any options, like a frame mounted safety, that I should get?
The CZ based .45 ACP has caught my eye, and I would like to get one. It is slimmer than the CZ-97. It has been a while since I handled one, but IIRC it felt better than the Tanfoglio/Witness.

Had one.
It jammed a lot.
Tried different mag.
Same results.
After about 600 rounds, the extractor broke.
Ordered new extractor from MR.
It arrived 4 months later.
Installed new extractor.
Said goodbye to .45 Baby Eagle.

Now the 9mm Baby Eagle is a whole different story - One of my favorite pistols.

Hi,
My Brother and my Dad both got one for Christmas, They both Jammed alot with cheap ammo "Do not buy Wolf AMMO!" with UMC and Winchester ammo my Dads dose not jam and is Reliable. My brothers jams every second shot due to the poor quality clips, The guns both are very accurate and I like the gun but I think I would go with something different if I was buying a .45. by the way the cheapist pleace I have found to buy the clips for the Eagles is CDNN Investments, INC www.cdnninvestments.com/index.html
I think they get 22 bucks for the .45 Acp clips.
