AZ Folks... What's Huntable In May?

From MI here, but might be out in Tucson for the week of May 19th 2014.

What hunting seasons are open for something I'd have a good chance of filling a tag around the Tucson area?

There is almost nothing open that time of year. Possibly cottonail rabbits. You can try calling coyotes, that's always fun. There are a few feral pigs down on the San Pedro but they're mostly nocturnal. You could try calling them as well. If you want, we could hook up and give both a try. Dunno if we could reach the river. Last year the road was pretty well washed out and we had a few really good rains this last summer so no telling what it'll be like. My problem is I've been so busy lately that I haven't been able to get out and hunt some myself and now I'm working up loads for an elk hunt.Even if I checked it out today by the time you got here it'll have changed. anyway, the invite is open.

Yeah, coyotes and rabbits. It's getting pretty hot by late May. Coyotes are thick down there around Tucson though.
