awesome vid about concealed carry

Not impressed!

The guy doesn't do it for me - Thanks anyhow!!

Got me CCW in 1986 and he is from a different school than me.

By the way, I carry >90% also, but dont share his dudeness.

I thought it was a very good video. Allot of people tend to nickpick things like this and be over critical! I thought the message he was trying to get across was honorable and well done. I know if I tried to do something like this allot of people would just concentrate on my failings and not even notice the message! :D

I have to disagree that a CCW makes you a sheep dog necessarily and brings a responsibilty to be a sheepdog. My mindset is to protect me and mine. By the same token me and mine could mean you and yours.

This dude's videos are filled with subjective information, personal bias, and anecdotal "evidence". Even when he is speaking in the arena of objective data, errors are frequent.

I can appreciate his desire to express his opinions on youtube.com and he does a fairly good job of presenting in a "George W. Bush" homely kind of way, but I would not take what he says as gospel.

Personally, I'm not impressed. I tend to agree with PeterGunn, lots of personal bias and errors presented as "fact" for me to give him much credence.

He's an amateur.

So am I, don't listen to me either. With the availability of information these days, everybody is an expert.

Whats his point, dude, I only got 5 minutes or so into it, but how long are you going to ramble about carrying >90% we get it. He doesn't even have anything worth filming, he is just holding up his guns.

I liked the mention of statics of how often people with a ccw carry, where do you think those numbers are?

Thanks for posting it, but my impression of the video and the kid who's "been doing this a long time. A long time"..... is that it gets a D+ tops for a Vo-Tech project.

Was this produced by Mall-Ninja.com?

I got my permit mostly b/c I could...and to have that option

I don't feel obligated to carry a certain amount of time to please his Dudeness

Also underwhelmed at the statistics he pulled out of his backside

Amen. I can't carry at my work, per company policy. That's 1/3 of my day.
Another 1/3 of the day I'm sleeping or commuting to work. That leaves just 1/3 of a day, or 8 hours. I guess I'm not worthy of Dude's holiness. According to him, I shouldn't even have a CHL.

I hear the dude... But I'm not going to spend 90% of my life strapped because some crackhead might assault Burger King. I don't live that way, worried/prepared for some impending doom. If I were an off duty cop I would feel differently. If I don't have the .40 and someone shoots me then that's how the cookie crumbles. The odds are pretty low. Way more likely that a cell phone tard will T-bone my car and snap my neck like a twig. Car accidents are in the top 10 causes of death in this country as I recall.

I have a permit because it's my right to have one. It doesn't obligate me to carry or be responsible for saving anyone. I'll carry when I feel that I'm in a risky place to protect myself and family. I do frequent at least one bad neighborhood.

I'll definitely be exercising the right when the zombies come as well..

Lets remember before we all freak out dude... And I keep bringing this up... Death by firearms isn't even in the top 20 causes and when it is listed it includes accidents and suicides. If you want to save lives, tell people to quit eating bad. Health problems from bad eating habits is the number one cause of death in this country by far. If you think about it, the fast food restaurant has probably helped kill more people than the nutcase with a gun ever has.

I've seen other vids by this guy, gun reviews and such. I never make through a whole video, Its hard to watch someone talk about a glock for 30 min. He seems to think he is some sort of authority on all things firearms related. He refers to himself alot in the 3rd person, I cant stand that. I always walk away thinking the same thing, "who the hell does this guy think he is?"

I love how he says that five percent of people with CCP dont carry...Is he just pulling this stuff out of the air? When you state a fact, sight your source, "I would say" doesnt cut it.

Wacko at McDonalds: If you don't mind, ill take all the money in the till

nutnfancy: I do mind, the Dude minds. This will not stand, ya know, this aggression will not stand, man.

That is your "duty" when carrying in your "jurisdiction":D
