Don't know if many of you are familar with this particular model, but thought I'd pass it on for those SA admirers. STI has a 1911-style compact out in 9mm(7+1) & .40(6+1) called the LS that is super slim. I'm not really into custom 1911s but saw this at the SHOT show and was really impressed. From the top it's quite a bit narrower than my P7, I think around .80 across. Really have to handle one to appreciate the profile. Price wasn't too bad either, <$800. Had an integral front sight post and super low-profile Heinie rear.(or should that be rear heinie?)
