I ahve recently acquired this weapon and would like to replace the 13" barrel with a 16" barrel and add a stock. Is this permissable and is the operation difficult? If it is allowed (legally), could you recommend some to do the work? Preferabley someone in Texas. Thanks in advance.
 
Reloader, I can't imagine it being illegal. I'm not acquainted with any smiths in TX that I know of. Try looking at www.gunindex.com. You might find someone there. I attempted last year to get a list of quality smiths by having folks post the names and contact info of the guys/gals they had dealt with and recommended. Got about 5 replies. George
