Ok just found out that in Bergen County (maybe all of NJ) Kmart WILL NOT carry ANYTHING related to a gun!

We won't have to worry about k-mart for too much longer anyway... Wal-Mart is kicking their @$$ and this "gun free" BS by k-mart ain't going to help them.

i have been waiting to see if the Kmart Sunday flyers will have actual pictures of guns in them

Last weeks had a full page of hunting company logos & 2 bb guns

Wal-Mart's shotgun prices are fantasic! I love that place. I can swing by and pick up some socks, a watch, and a 12bore.

The fact that they still sell firearms despite tremendous pressure from the anti's tells me something about their higher-ups.

I went into a K-mart the other day and found that EVERYTHING related to guns was locked up behind glass. Bore brushes, Hoppes, targets, everything.

Meanwhile, they had compound bows and sharp broadhead arrowheads out at child height.

I dont re-call seeing any Wal-Marts around me.. Time to start looking!

You tell me where you are and I'll tell you the nearest Wal-Mart . My road atlas is printed with a Wal-Mart directory .

Dead,
Don't waste your time! Most NJ Wal-Marts don't even have a gun department! The few that do, usually have the department well hidden, and may carry a couple rifles and shotguns at the most. Sports Authority dropped all their hand guns, and a lot of their rifles this Spring. Dicks Sporting has an OK selection of rifles, but no hand guns. If you want selection, you basically have to pay full price at a gun shop.

I now buy all my guns on-line, and have them shipped to the range I belong to. They hold a NJ FFL, and for a small fee, they perform the transfer, and call in the NICS. Well worth it.

Where I live both Wal Mart and K Mart have the guns prominentely displayed. Shotgun ammo and targets on the floor within easy reach. Boscov`s which is a Macy`s type store also has guns displayed by the men`s clothing section.
They don`t have the biggest selection of course, and they`re locked up behind the counter, but you can`t miss them. :D

Where I live the Walmart and Kmart are on the same street about 1/4 mile apart. Both sell lots of guns and ammo. Here in town we have 2 sporting goods store with a dozen pawn shops ALL of which sell guns. A few of the gas stations sell the obvious ammo. It is not unusaul to see people in parking lots around here fondling each others rifles and pistols.
THANK GOD FOR THE SOUTH!

Dead . Take RT 23 out to Franklin N.J. . At the JCT. of 23 and Washington Ave. is a Wal-Mart . That's the closest .

Walmart has a good deal on 12 gauge dove loads around here in Texas. $29.80 a case.

It's Winchester 7/8 oz high speed, and worked mighty fine for a couple of limits of Dove this past weekend :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

Also, around here they are revamping a bunch of Walmarts so that instead of a counter against the wall, they have a Kiosk out in the middle, next to the main drag. Pretty good ammo displays, lots of game mounts, and the guns are in this big glass spindle thing so you can spin 'em around and get a real good look at 'em. I Like it.

But, I don't like those SUPER-Walmarts. I got lost in one a while back. I must have been in there for several days. No sun to figure my position, and some truly vile creatures in there. I'll spare the gory details, I'm just glad I made it out alive.

Paratrooper....suspicions confirmed, we used to be neighbors. By the way, two of the drums were nitro and the other two were methanol.
