ATN Scopes - Opinions?

I recently ordered a scope mount for my FAL, and I'm wondering what scope I should get. I know there are many Leupold fans here - and I'm sure they are excellent scopes, but I'm considering the ATN line. I like the range adjustments, illuminated reticle, and reasonable prices. I have an ATN 5x33 on an AR-15, and I like it, but I don't really know how it would compare with other scopes. I think it has some parallax error - at least I've noticed that at very close range (20' or so) when I move my head with the scope stationary, I see the aiming dot move a little. I'm not sure if this happens at more typical ranges. Anyway, I would appreciate any experiences with or evaluations of the ATN scopes compared with other $200-$300 scopes. Thanks.

I feel the ATN is durable and a pretty good scope for the money.I don't like the weight however, and recently shot a Nikon compact fixed power (4x I believe.) I was very impressed,as my friend bought it for $125.
