I thought it was supposed to be down for 48 hours or so for change to a dedicated server. Can't find it, it's been down more than that, and I can't get the message explaining where they are moving any more. It's not www.smith-wessonforum.com, which was what I had taken down. Anybody know here I can find it? Thanks

If S&W WENT where a lot of people have been telling them to GO, ... you don't want to follow them there.

RH, the forum is in NO WAY associated with the S&W company. Instead, it is a forum for & dedicated to the owners of S&W products. Up until 1998, they were the LARGEST handgun maker in the WORLD. That means that there are a lot of S&W handguns out there and that translates into a lot of S&W owners out there -- the majority of which were purchased before any agreement was even written up!

The forum is a place for these owners to asks questions and share their expereinces with others who own similar firearms.

And the forum has about as many members as people buying S&Ws. About 200+ as I recall. Sometimes there are no new posts for days. What a yawner.

Found it and thanks. Don't have to like the company to like the products, especially pre-agreement. I am sold on the products and like to get knowledge from the folks there, what is lacked in traffic quantity is more than made up for in quality. I don't own an H&K weapon, but I visit HKPRO boards regularly and pick up lots of good info.

I like their products too. I own 2 Smith revolvers. And, you are correct that there is some interesting stuff on the board. I just can't get over the lack of traffic. I only found the board after the boycott began. I always wondered if there was more volume on the board before the boycott? If so, it's sad that Smith shooters abandoned the board just because they turned their back on the company.

RJ/Captain Bligh: That's what it's all about -- liking the product and not necessary the company that turned it's back on the shooting community. As a co-moderator of one of the forums, I invite you to stop by to say hello and chat a while. FUD.

Well FUD, I tried to take your invitation and I can't get there either. When I go through Buyers Club I get all their forum buttons except S & W. Directions please?
