Astra A75 same as Rap 401/440?

I was told they are,but have never seen an actual Astra.I do own 2 of the RAP-440's though and i downloaded an Astra manual at EAA's website and they look identical.Those RAP-440's are one sweeeeeeeet piece!
 
Not quite. The A-75 does not have a safety, just a de-cocker, the RAP does which also de-cocks. Otherwise, they are identical.

The 9mm mag and the .40SW mag of the A-75 are the same (says 9mm on one side, .40SW on the other). They should fit the RAP. The A-75, however, is very heavy for its size as it is all steel. There were alloy framed versions but, IIRC from others who have them, they were still a bit heavy. Not sure what the RAP frame is made of.
 
I have an A-75, but know nothing about the Rap. I can tell you that I love my Astra and carry it nearly constantly. Yes, it's heavy - all steel, but I like that.

I've had a heck of a time finding replacement mags for the Astra (don't want to pay the $25.00 each that I've seen them going for) so can anyone tell me for sure if Rap mags fit in the Astra A-75?
