Field stripping is somewhat like the M1911. Make sure the gun is unloaded, then remove the magazine, pull the slide back to where the slide stop lines up with the small dismount notch in the slide, push the slide stop out right to left. Release the slide and remove it to the front. Further disassembly is not needed or recommended.
