Assistance Needed

Need some assistance from you “long range precision rifle” shooters on a project.

A year or so ago I down loaded a “Data Book” Excell Spreadsheet off of Sniper’s Paradise. Unfortunately it was password protected and wouldn’t allow any changes or data input so I disregarded it and forgot about it.

Recently I came across it and decided to “recreate” it in an un-protected format (properly attributed where needed) that data can be input into and so I could also add some things to it/change some stuff (I don’t do meters).

The spreadsheet has numerous worksheets in it that include.

Formula Quik Reference – MilDot Range formula, Yds to Meters, Windage formula, Wind constants for formula, Wind Direction Values, Wind Estimation using Mirage, MidDot Width @ yardage equivulants, and MilDot Reticle breakdown.

Windage Quik Reference – MPH v Range = MOA Adjustment

Up/Down Angle Reference – for Fed Match .308 in 5 degree increments

Zero Come Up/Down – Blank Data Sheet

Target Data Sheets – Zero, Cold Bore 1 & 2 (different target types), Head Shot, Stationary Target, Moving Target

Range Card

Round Count

Observation Sheet

The assistance I’m looking for is two fold…

1 – Table/Formula data verification

2 – Recommendations on what also can be included (I know I have to do a “Lead” worksheet).

My plan is to get the above assistance then finalize the spreadsheet. After all the data is finalized I will re-format it so that it can be printed and fit in a readily available (from like Office Depot) book. Currently I have the sheets formatted so that they fit 2 per 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper. This is a little to big IMO for a data book you may have to carry afield.

Once finalized and format it will be offered to those who want it.

Anyone what to help in this? If so, e-mail me and I’ll send it to you. All that I ask is for input back (either good, bad or indifferent) so I know if something needs to be changed or included.

Ron,

Neither is protected now that I've recreated it (workbook or sheet).

The one I d/led off of Sniper's Paradise was workbook protected. I can't seem to find it on SP now, though I didn't look that hard.
