Ashley Sights?????

I'm looking to replace the stock sights on my SA 1911 with the Ashleys and would love to hear your experiences with said product.

I'll have to mill the front of the slide for the dovetail, but that's small potatoes if the sights work as well as projected.

I'm looking for fast acquisition, not NM precision. While IDPA is a possibility, duty use and CC are my main objectives. Thus, incredible accuracy isn't as important as ease of use in all light conditions.

Any thoughts would, of course, be appreciated.

I bought some Millet fully adjustible, with florestent red front blade and white line up lines on my rear sight.

But I don't know how well they would work in C.C.
