Here's hoping his reading of the Bill of Rights has improved a little since his time in the Senate.

He's as good as we could have realistically hoped for, but he's far from perfect on guns and privacy issues.

Hmmm, looks like Jean Carnahan has fallen into the goosestep of the Demoncrats. So much for appreciation. It seems to be wasted on many of this liberal mindset.

Those of you who have Democratic Senators who voted yes, please take a short moment to write, phone or email them with a quick thanks for standing up to the rest of their fellow Dems.

We will need these same people to vote with us in the future if we hope to see some pro-Second justices appointed to the Supreme Court, so let's make sure the Senators who helped us out remember what happy, thankful constituents they had after the Ashcroft vote.

Democrats who voted for Ashcroft were Sens. John Breaux of Louisiana, Robert C. Byrd of West Virginia,
Kent Conrad and Byron Dorgan of North Dakota, Christopher Dodd of Connecticut, Russ Feingold of
Wisconsin, Zell Miller of Georgia and Ben Nelson of Nebraska.

Party loyalty above principle

For those of us who have Democrat Senators in heavily conservative states, let's make 'em pay!!

Baucus - MT
Bayh - IN
Cleland - GA
Daschle - ND (yeah, that'll happen)
Edwards - NC
Graham - FL
Hollings - SC (another Senator-for-Life)
Johnson - SD
Landrieu - LA
Lincoln - AR
Nelson - FL
Reid - NV

DZ,

Maryland, by NO stretch of the imagination, qualifies as a conservative state. Sorry dude, but Baltimore and Parris Glendenning are dragging you to hell with them.

The political buzz is that the only reason Russ Feingold, one of the most liberal members of the Senate, voted to confirm was to curry favor for his campaign finance bill. He said he voted on principle, but his principles have been awol for a long time.

Maryland, the Floating Turd in the Toilet of Liberalism

Did anyone honestly believe that any of the Gestapo wannabees from this state would vote positively for anyone with a hair of conservatism on their person?

Maryland, the State where your governor wants to lock up your guns and to hell with a key!

Glad to see Ashcroft in there though. It's a quantum improvement over Janet Reno.

Wait till you hear this!!

Fatboy, you know the one, who if he had owned a VW back in the old days would be president today had his usual "SCHTUPID" (that's a southern term for really stupid) remark. I am quoting from a newsmax article:

"I hope this vote sends a strong message to the president of the United States about the strength of the committment of the senate of the United States to protecting these fundamental values," sen teddy......

Now what "fundamental values is he speaking of? I know all of you can fill in those blanks. The rest of the 42 sociocrats said this proved they could filibuster anyone and it would take "60"(?) votes to overturn them. Let them filibuster, then let the others take the case to the American public. To hell with Bipartisanship, Fight, you black-mailed Republican Wusies! We should all be looking to the future and how we can take this list of losers and see if they can't be sent home for good! I don't imagine Ashcroft is perfect but he beats the heck out of someone who will violate circut court orders with a magistrates order.

My personal, adopted Senators, J. Helms and C. Thomas, voted for the Ashcroft. My state senators, Schumer and Mrs. Clinton voted against.

I am beginning to understand the reasoning behind apportioning electoral votes by districts and not the state. By doing so the upstate voters of New York would not be swamped by the unwashed masses of NYC.

OK, time to write the letter declaring outrage of Klintoon's quid pro quo for Marc Rich. I will demand the removal of Mrs. Clinton from all committees, at the least.

As far as I am concerned, there are 42 Democraps that need to be tried, convicted, drawn, quartered, and then hung for treason!!!!!!
