ASA Rifles?

Has anyone got any info on American Spirit Arms? I see they have an AR-10 knockoff that can be had with either FAL metric magwell or M14 magwell. Since FAL metric mags are much cheaper and readily available and I already know and like the ergonomics of the AR15 system, I thought I would seek input from anyone here who has dealt with American Spirit Arms.

This goes back to the days of AR15.com but ASA has a bad rep for poor customer service and the owner is a real idiot. I would steer clear, myself, given their track record.

ASA really is worth staying away from. You'd be better served getting an Armalite AR10 and getting a no-bull Lifetime Warranty even if the magazines do cost more, there's the Eagle line now as well and cost is less of an issue for the base rifle there.

The companies I'd go with hands down for AR10 type rifles,
Armalite
Eagle
Knights Manufacturing SR25

Yes, they'll all set you back a pretty penny but so will the ASA and the only advantage for going with an ASA as I see it is the FAL magazine issue. Everything else ASA though seems to be a "con" rather than a "pro."
