of course after doing the proper paperwork i would like to go sbr. my questions are
1)can i use a brownells facing tool to cut and crown the barrel myself?
2)does the gas system have to be opened up.
it would be nice to save the money doing it myself. i have done some good crowns with the brownells tool but i dont know about the chrome lining.
 
well....seems no one has an answer for me. i looked on the arsenal site . it says the length of the folded rifle is 25 inches. i thought it must be wrong because the legal length is 26 inches. i measured it here and found it is 25 inches on the nose. do i have an illegal rifle?
 
1) can i use a brownells facing tool on a chrome lined barrel?
2) does the gas system have to be opened up after i cut the barrel to work reliably?
3)as the gun sits with the 16 inch barrel it is only 25inches when folded. is this illegal? this is how it came from arsenal
