Hi all,

I just bought an Armscor M100 TC (22LR revolver). It looks to be in great condition. And my first revolver, too!

I was just wondering if anyone owns/owned one of these and can provide me with some info.

- Is it a copy of another model? If so are there interchangeable parts (grips, etc.)?
- Anyone know what holster would work well for it?

Any info you could provide would be great.

Here are some pics:

I like it. I would like to know some more about it. Quality, pricing etc. I've been looking for a cheaper DA Revolver to let friends use and I really don't wanna get another Taurus. :o

I have worked on exactly two of those (from the same owner) in the mid 80's when I was smithing in Florida. They are pretty much a copy of the Colt Diamondback, but I don't recall if the parts were interchangeable or not.

I don't want to be uncharitable, but (at that time), I found the steel to be incredibly soft and the interior workmanship left a lot to be desired. That said, they did work.

sweet where did you buy this thing? in 2009 Armscor had a few at the gun show . was hoping they would be selling these soon. Colt cylinder.

The armscor .38s are stylized like colt detective specials, but internally they appear to use a copy of the Colt Mk V lockwork. Not bad guns and I'd certainly buy one in .22lr if they still sold them here.

3006mv, the OP hasn't been active on TFL since May, 2010, so it's unlikely that you will get a response from him on your question.

Aren't Comanches made in Argentina?

Edit: Google-fu reveals that the Comanches are, in fact, made in Argentina.

Considering that the Comanche is still in production and Llama went out of business four or five years ago, I don't think this is correct.
In NJ?
Eagle Imports is in New Jersey, yes.

They import all Bersa pistols in the U.S. as well as the Metro Arms/American Classic line of 1911s. I don't know where the Comanches are made, but I'm sure it's not by Llama.

The current Comanche line of revolvers are made in Argentina. Previously the Comanche revolvers were made by Llama in Spain, but they've been in various degrees of bankruptcy for over a decade. I'm betting Eagle owns the "Comanche" name and can put it on whatever revolver they want to sell.
