Armalite trigger

Just bought an Armalite M15A4 and the first thing i need to do is trigger it. Anyone have any suggestions on the best one. I will be using it for short and medium range varminting, so need a fairly light pull. Also, would like to do the install myself. Thanks
 
I've got a couple of the Armalite NM triggers. They might be heavier than you want, as they're set up more for service rifle competition, with a lower limit of 4 1/2 lbs. I like them quite a bit. Not cheap, though, as they run about $170, last I looked. Can't comment on installation as I had a gunsmith install them for me.

The Jewell and Compass Lake are probably the two best two-stage triggers. I personally don't like a two-stage trigger for varminting/targets, so I went with the JP Enterprises trigger/hammer combo. Pull is around 3#, with no overtravel or creep. I've installed four or five of the JP sets, with no complaints, so far.
