Armalite chamberings for AR pattern

I'm interested in opinions of the .243 and .308 chamberings for the AR that I found at the Armalite web site.

Are there any AR-10 owners out there or have any of you ever shot one of these?

I just picked up an AR-10 in .308. The rifle shoots very well and I like the layout of the controls.

The only drawback to the rifle is the muzzle brake. The noise is ferocious.

There is a thread on this subject in the Smithy.

I am considering buying a DSA FN for a comparision.
