What's the Armalite AR-10 (standard model) selling for new.

I'm not sure about current prices, and it will depend on where you shop. $1200.00 to $1400.00 would be the ballpark, I think.

My A4 carbine was $1250.00 last fall.

Before I left Virginia last fall, the gun shop I worked at had them going for $1599 (if I recall correctly).

Mine was proced at $1,599. but I got a substantial discount. A major discounter I know charges 1,259 and the Armalite website lists something like $1,383. They are substantial rifles and the barrels are hand lapped for accuracy - the only difference for standard vs match is they use 2 vs 3 lead swages for the lapping.
I went the .243 route so maybe got a better deal as they seem less in demand.
