Armalite - .223 or .308 ???????????

I'm going to get an Armalite Carbine but I can't decide which caliber to get. I noticed that the .308 model (AR10A2) comes with two 10 round mags and the .223 model (M15A2) only comes with one 7 round mag. Why wouldn't the .223 model come with a 10 round mag.?

What are the pro's and con's of these rifles?

TIA

Not to get away from the specific question, but if you're going to get a .223, you would probably be better off w/ a Bushmaster,Oly-Arms, DPMS,or older model Colt.
Looking at the Armalite catalog I noticed some significant differences from other AR rifles. If you go with the .223 Armalite, research parts adaptability/availability for them.

I can't speak to the M15, but I just bought a new Armalite AR10A4 stainless barrel carbine and I love the thing. Was REALLY accurate at the range and didn't jam through the 200 rounds I put through it (took it straight to the range with a squirt of Break-Free on the bolt). Very handy little gun and I already have my USGI M14 mags on the way to Armalite to get some 20 rounders for it. :)

the ar10 comes with 2 mags cause they are custom made for that rifle.
the Ar 15 takes more obtainable USGI mags.
