Arkansas CHCL holder shoots at bank robber

On Monday, November 12, 2012, at about 1:30 in the afternoon, there was an attempted bank robbery very close to my home. It is unclear (to me) at this time whether there was one would-be bank robber or two. The robber (or one of the robbers) shot a man in the leg on the robber's way out of the bank. The shooter then fled into a fuel station next door to the bank. A CHCL holder, who I understand was at the gas station, opened fire on the robber(s).

This happened in broad daylight in a "good part" of town. The address of the bank is in the article in case you want to look at a map of the area, but I will tell you that the bank is essentially in the front parking lot of a Kroger, as is a Kroger fuel station. The parking lots of the fuel station and the bank are situated so that you can drive between the two without ever getting out on the street. I know this because I shop & fuel up at that very Kroger.

It remains to be seen whether the CHCL holder will face any charges, but I do note that one of the articles states that the CHCL holder was released without charges. I have opened this thread so that we can monitor & discuss the legal situation.
