Arizona Response Systems FALs

I've been shopping for an FAL for some time now and an leaning towards an ARS built by Mark Graham, aka "gunplumber" in Arizona. Any of you folks own one of his rifles and what do you think? I'm also considering selling my HK USPf .45 to finance the project. Any interest?

Thanks

TimW got his FAL from the Flagstaff guy. He has no complaints.

I have had my trigger on my Argie FAL gone over by Mark Graham at ARS. He made it really sweet. He knows his stuff.

My understanding is that the guy in Flagstaff once "studied" under Mark, who is considered quite the FAL guru.

My understanding is that Derek@AZEX_arms did most of the FAL stuff when he worked for the Gunplumber while the 'plumber concentrated on HK stuff (at the time).

Both ARS (gunplumber) and Derek (AZ Expert) have excellent reputations. I wouldn't hesitate to send a gun to either.

I have an ARS FAL carbine. It's a very fine piece. Beautiful finish and fit. Trigger is smooth and outstanding (considering it's a military rifle). Most importantly, it's functioned 100% reliable with all kinds of ammo.

I've been to Gunplumber's shop. He won't sell you a piece of junk. He makes sure all his barrels have no pitting. And he stands by his work. I highly recommend buying a FAL from him. You can pay less elsewhere, but as the saying goes, "you get what you pay for".

Based on his personality alone, I would not hesitate to do business with him.

He always brings his wares to the local shows and encourages 'hands-on' fondling. Predominantly FALs, Glocks, and BHPs. He even has his own videos now, done in the AGI style. He feels that AGIs leave a lot to be desired in several areas. Though I have little interest in the rifle, his Hi-Power work appeared to be top-shelf. If the FAL is done with the same level of attention, it should be excellent.
