Earlier this year I nearly missed a doe while deer hunting because my 7.7 has a trigger pull of 247 lbs. so I had to do something even if it was wrong. I started by polishing all the trigger parts till they looked like chrome but it didn't help much, I even tried oil. I figured the worst I could do was have to buy another trigger if I really screwed things up, so I beveled the top 1/16 to 1/8 in. of the trigger rocker were it meats the bolt by 2 or 3 degrees and re polished it. After I put it together I was amazed with the results. I had a very smooth trigger with maybe a 3 lb. pull. I used a dremel tool with a very fine rubber type grinding wheel and then a polishing wheel with polishing compound. Just remember to take very small steps or you may end up with a hair trigger.
