OK, nobody ar the Smithy could answer, so here goes....

I have a Vz24 action. I'd like a hinged floorplate. It has to be as long as the standard military '98 triggerguard because of the stock inletting. Is the '09 triggerguard the same length as the '98 military, and will it function on the Vz24 action? I've never handled an Argentine, so I don't know...

Also, who has them? GunPartsCorp/Numrich says they don't have any.

The '09 floorplate will perfectly fit a VZ-24 action. I put one on a VZ-24 that Kimber sporterized in 7Rem. mag. Finding just the bottom metal will be tough. I had to buy an '09 action from Ellisons and lucked into some very nice metal. Ellisons can be found over at cruffler.com, a site for military weapons. There seems to be a lot of '09s arriving recently so the cost of an action should not exceed $75.
