Ares Shrike, what happened??

I was following the develoupment of the Ares Shrike belt feed upper receiver for the AR/M16 series but they seem to have fallen off the face of the earth lately. I liked the idea, belt or box feed from the same setup, quick change barrel, light weight. Anyone know what the current status is? It was one of the few ideas I was definately interested in.
