Ouch! I would be willing to bet that the marketability of these shows are the reason that that these hunts are "guaranteed kill" types. Not a lot of fringe hunters would like to watch a season "White Tale Slayer" and see some dude sitting in a tree stand and get 1 maybe 2 deer. We know there is a lot more to hunting than that, but the other options (scouting, swatting mosquitoes, pooping behind a bush) might not make the best television.
I personally have no problems with these kind of shows, nor do I ask comedians to guide my hunts.
