Are you on a waiting list for mags, now a looming ban (CO). Crap, what now?!

I'm sure I'm not the only one in this predicament as of late. I've had a few orders placed at various AR mag manufacturers (Mako, Cope's, Officerstore, etc.) and I'm still waiting on a lot of magazines. Now that the CO legislation has bought into this utopian pony show, there's a chance that it'll become law before our magazines are at our doorstep.

So what do we do now? Is the order receipt enough to prove "we bought it before your steaming **** of a law occurred"? The law itself has absolutely no bearing on a situation like this?

Also, what happens if you drop a mag and chip a feed lip or something? Am I no longer allowed to purchase a replacement mag body?

It will be impossible to answer those questions without seeing the actual text of the bill and reviewing CO law, both statutory and caselaw.

If we haven't seen the law (much less seen it pass), we can't really answer the question. If someone wants to start a thread when we have more information, that's fine.
