Why did I post this in Legal & Political?
Two reasons.1. All my friends are here and 2.It was to share this humor with them that I posted this.

Legal & Political is not always the happiest board on tfl and sometimes it does not hurt to lighten up a bit.

Oh--by the way-- I found myself answering yes
to 40 to 50 % of the aquizations listed below!

I think I have one more to add I didn't see and that is:

You're a gun nut when your wife or girlfriend opens every drawer in your dresser and you have more tupperware in them than you do in the kitchen cabinets, with guns that needs to be put back together, that was started projects and never finished. :)

Yes I can relate to this one, thats why I listed it. LOL

lol!rotflmao!

Only I keep my disassembled gun parts
wrapped in paper towells in old Klenex boxes !
I think I currently have about 7 firearms in pieces waiting to be reassembled! LOL!

I cant rightly remember the exact number!

You know your a gun nut when you buy really old and badly beat up rifles that no one else would want, just so that you can refinish the stock and reblue the action
and lap the bore and try to restore it to like new condition!

Am I sick or what??? Nahh!!

Yes to about 40% of them, one in particular: I am VERY careful NEVER to add up or form a total in my OWN mind as to how many guns I have. That way, whenever ( and it DOES happen) some nosyparker casually asks me: How many guns You got, anyway?, I can't reflexively tell him! I literally DO NOT KNOW!
crankshaft

I don't think I want to know me. Think I scored 73 percent including Terri's tupperware.

Add,
the wash tub of empties under the bed.
the four reloading refs in the main bathroom.
The pint can of RIG on shelf over puter.
The 50 bmgs and 20 mm same shelf.
The powder redidue on and in the keyboard.
The Remoil stains on the fax machine.
Dozen calibers of brass living room and kitchen.
More powder than food in refrigerator.
More ammo than food in refriderator.
The case of slugs used as a footstool.
The little cans of bore cleaner, one for each room.
The RIG impregnated sheepskin pads all over the place.
This is like potatoe chips, I can't stop.

Nikita Khrushchev predicted confidently in a speech in Bucharest, Rumania on June 19, 1962 that: " The United States will eventually fly the Communist Red Flag...the American people will hoist it themselves."

Reminds me of my friend Stanley R. that some of you may have meet at the Glock Collecter"s
Association Booth at the recent NRA Convention in Charlote, NC.

Stanley was the big 6 ft 3 guy behind the Glock Association Booth wearing the Glock shirt with the big pot belly.

Stanley just has to own every Glock model
and variant ever made, with the exception of the model 18 full auto pistol, which is prohibited in the USA.

He got back from the NRA Convention just last week and immediately had to buy 3 new Glocks as Glock has come out with some
unadvertised variants. So there goes 1900.oo
or so.Stanley is always broke, I wonder why???

43 Glocks and just increased by 3 more!

A inch longer or an inch shorter, or
finger groove grips vs pebbled finish grips or the plastic rail on the frame for the
flashlight/laser mount.

I'm not personally into Glocks much as I prefer Sig Sauer , but I get to see and hear
all about every Glock Stanley buys, for 3 or 4 hours on end.
I like Stanley, so I dont let on that when he gets going on about his Glock"s , after about the first 10 minutes, my mind just shuts off, and I pretend to listen to his voice droning on and on and on and on.
If he every asked me what he was talking about ,I would have absolutely no idea!
But it makes him so happy to have someone to brag to about his collection and
even though Glock does not ring my bell,
I enjoy seeing him so happy, even when it is boring the sh!t out of me.

I really dont have any right to complain,
because when Stanley told me that he wanted
to start collecting Glocks, I was the bastard
that got him his membership into the Glock Collectors Association.
Little did I know the all consuming monster collection soon to be created!
I have seem enough black tupperware boxes to last me a lifetime! And they all look alike! You know, once in a while I like to buy a bright shinny mirror finish stainless steel job, just to offset all that flat black plastic!

Mercy, Mercy, I would think you all be ashamed of taking your wives tupperware like that. I thought I was the only one that had to put up with this, it must just be a man thing. LOL
