Are Tokarevs hard to find now? See ads all over for CZ52's but not for Tokarev's. Who still has any for sale? Looking to get a 7.62x25 pistol so I'm wondering about the CZ or Tok. Thanks,
JR

I see them in pawn shops and gun shows all the time. About 15 years ago I owned one in 7.62 and it shot fine no complaints. They go for around 125 in real good condition. They are not the most handsome pistol in the world and I don't expect them to gain in value anytime this century. Mine was of chinese make. If you are looking for a good shooter the CZ52 is better in all areas. I own one of those too. Good luck:)

The only Tokarovs I regularly see are either Chinese 9mm pistols (imported some years ago) or the Polish pistols that were imported in the last three years. Sure, there are original Russian Tokarovs out there, but there is enough collector interest that these guns are pricey and not on the market for long.

I have a Polish Tokarov and it really is a nice example of the TT 33. I've heard some people call these arsenal refinished, but mine seems to have been new and unfired.
