Don't know, but I expect it would depend, at least partly, on the exact stage of the absorption of Rossi into Taurus that they're from. There were, at least for a while, differences between Rossi and Taurus even under Taurus ownership.
Maybe. It's possible that one is a badge engineered version of the other, but sometimes there are differences even then.Now that is interesting and means that the triggers are the same !!!

The only difference I can see is the rib between the front sight and the frame on the Rossi seems to be missing on the Taurus.

The taurus looks like it has a recessed cylinder while the rossi doesn't.
