Are there bigger grips for a SRH?

I've got a recent production SRH in 454. It came with the ball palm style Hogue Tamer that uses the blue sorbothane insert. These are the factory grips with the Ruger logo.

My hands are fairly large. I usually wear XL gloves. The Tamer grips work well to control recoil but they're too skinny at the top and bottom. They just don't fit my hand.
My old N-frame has the thick finger groove combat style grips and they are the right size for me.

I'd like to avoid spending a ton of money on buying custom grips and I don't want to end up ordering and returning a dozen different grips.

Do you guys know of a set of thicker grips for this thing?

My guess is that you are going to spend at least $80-$100 unless you go with Pachmayr.

Do try Trausch--he may be able to make them for you. His basic grips are huge with lots of material on the backstrap.

Herrett's Stocks will make grips for your hand. However, they will need your gun if you want Jordan Troopers. I recommend you call them and ask.

Also contact Badger Grips. They may have something.
