Are there any semi-auto rifles with a fixed ejector?

I ask this because I'm not aware of any fixed (pistol style) ejectors on semi-auto rifles. All of the ones that I am familiar with use a spring loaded ejector.

Is a fixed ejector viable on a rifle, it would seem to be simpler.

If your wondering what got me started on this, see the thread, "Help, my Bushmaster is screwed up!" A tiny little brass shaving got lodged inside my ejector and was causing the most bizarre malfunctions.

My HK 91 rifle doesn't use a spring loaded ejector. It has a fixed ejector down in the trigger group that pivots up to eject the case when the bolt travels to the rear.

the HK isn't exactly fixed, but it isn't a plunger type ejector.

The plunger type ejector seems to be an American exception, not the rule.
