Well, I'm not a graphologist, but I have a little familiarity with the subject.
When I was 19, a good friend's mother analyzed my handwriting. [I'll note that she apparently learned the skill while working at the Arizona state mental hospital ... no, I was not a patient
]
Her conclusions were a bit spooky. I'll just say that she told me some things about myself that I had never verbalized, but they rang true. And, they were not like the astrology drivel we hear.
I was not convinced at that point, but I admit my curiosity was aroused. And, I began to change my view about handwriting analysis, since prior to that experience I regarded it as baseless bunk.
In my early 20's I applied for a job in a clothing store. As part of the interview process, they had me write a paragraph about something, and then sign it at the bottom. This was most certainly used by their graphologist - they always want a bit to work with, it needs to be in cursive, and they'll want a signature. I've heard for a long time that Europeans often use graphology in the hiring process, but I don't know that for a fact.
Then, my wife became interested in this subject a few years ago. She bought a number of books, and would occasionally look at the handwriting of some of my business associates and potential employees. Some of this was also a bit spooky. I don't know if I could say she always hit the nail on the head with her analysis (and, she was still an amateur), but I recall her being right enough that I got to where I
always asked her to look samples over, when I had them.
I have no idea why this should work. And, I tend to be quite suspicious about assertions that cannot be proven to me. I don't believe in astrology or fortune telling, and, to be frank, I'm not even a very religious fellow.
But graphology? I think it is for real. Wouldn't it be interesting to take a gander at the analyses for Clinton, Feinstein, Schumer, Brady and others, eh?
