Are there any countries abroad that recognize your right to keep and bear arms?

Are there any countries outside the U.S. that you can travel to that you can carry a gun concealed or otherwise? Are there any countries that recognize your state CHL?

If I were to ever travel to Israel or Iraq, for instance, I would rather have my revolver on my side or under my coat so I don't become another hostage taken by the muslims.
 
I don't believe so...

The closest I can think of MIGHT be Australia... :confused:

Israel requires all citizens to be soldiers and all to keep a military gun in their homes... ???

Switzerland is similar, so I hear???
 
In India the Sikhs can carry a dagger everywhere they go. It's part of their religion. Daggers are 'arms' obviously.

Some federal court in detroit ruled that you couldn't take the dagger away from a Sikh or it would be religious persecution.
 
I'm sure as heck not going to go to a country where terrorists are armed with AK 47s and the like armed with a dagger :eek: :D
 
Sorry mate, no concealed carry here. We fight tooth and nail for what few rights we have. Since the facist (did I say that?) gov't here outlawed over .38 handguns for ipsc I had to buy an 80 series in 38 super to compete and to keep my 70 series 45 I joined another club to use it in metallic silouhette - all the front sight and 1 ft hold over on the rams.
They try to take our guns, so for every one of mine they outlaw I replace it with 2. Try to use your tax refund to buy a gun, in the last 5 years I've bought 4 guns and a boat with mine, we fought registration but it happened anyway. They are evil and can't be reasoned with, they will do as they please and pass illegal laws in spite of class actions. Don't trust the repuplicans either - the slimebag that took our rights heads our 'conservative' party. The left wing are even worse.
Do your best to win the hearts and minds as we continue to do but exploit the loopholes - we are dealing with bureacracy.

Isreal has fairly strict gun laws. They do allow some carry by some people. They are not a good example of gun rights in action.
 
Yes Doug it is like your country, they will win as long as lazy people keep saying 'IT WON'T HAPPEN HERE'. Those who choose not to fight are as guilty as the governments they despise.
Take a non shooter to the range, get women involved, lose the cammo t shirt or we will lose the fight. We have to preach to the un converted. If I sound desperate you're right. You are now where we were 10 years ago and now we're sh?t out of luck.
The word around the traps is that we'll have a masacre with a bolt action in 2007 and we'll lose the lot. Who knows? stalin killed more Russians than Hitler did Jews, governments at work yet again.
