What do you think? What will you use for protection?:rolleyes:
What do you think MIGHThappen if the economy fails?? What would you do with no money? How will we eat? How will our bourders look? Do you think our government will will have the resources to help? Whould you be prepared and do you even care?? These times scare the hell out of me and they should you.

It is always "the time" we all need protection.

It is a fantasy to think any of us are immune from violence in our lives. Evil eternally stalks the face of the earth looking for opportunity to impose itself on the innocent or unprepared.

Since this is handgun forum, the first line of defense is almost always the handgun because it is what can be readily at hand any time and nearly anywhere.

Uncertain times escalates the risk factors. My G23 is my primary go to gun. Good energy, diameter, and capacity. Reliable, durable and plenty accurate for defense. Parts are inexpensive, as are magazines.

Besides a battery of .40S&W Glocks, I also have 1911, FEG HP35 clones, and a S&W .38 revolver. And a Kelttec P3AT.
 
LOL, Yes Pboy, if I see you buy one more super nice gun (this week) I am arming up! :D

To the OP. I will assume this is a SHTF thread. So that would be my Glock 21, Mossberg 500 and AK/AR.

To the OP:

1) It's in "General Handguns", yet not really about handguns.
2) If I moved it to "General Discussion", it would get shut down as yet another "SHTF/TEOTWAWKI/Zombie Apocalypse/What is the best gun for mutant ninja grizzlies?" thread.

So we'll just take option number 2 as a given...
